Processing
the sapphire tube processing process is extremely complex, involving the preparation of raw materials. sapfir, a monokristallin sap, is the primary material used for this purpose. a variety of other materials, such as tin and titanium, are also used in the process.
the temperature gradient in the tube wall must agree with the pulling temperatures for this process to be effective. the tube structure and transparency are weakened when the temperature gradient is too high or too low, reducing processing capacity. this is why keeping the temperature gradient within a narrow range is critical.

Sapphire's Mohs hardness is 9 (diamond is 10). It is the hardest material next to diamonds. Until now, it's nearly impossible to make a diamond tube as costing, difficulty processing. But ZMSH can produce a sapphire tube with OD/ID polishing to optical grade.
